Book Fair: Two Truckloads of Reading To Help Cancer Patient
With all the literary activity in Beijing this month (we spotted Lionel Shriver at the Bookworm Literary Festival last weekend, and the lovely Anne Witchard came across as a charming and hopeless China romantic) who can’t pass up the opportunity to buy some cheap books? And it’s for a good cause too. Roundabout Charity is hosting what is being billed as their biggest downtown book fair to date at Beijing City International School this Saturday. Two truckloads of books will be at your disposable for perusing and purchasing from 10:00 am onwards. How many books does two truckloads consist of? That is far beyond our mathematical skills, but we're betting on a fantastic selection. You can also feel proud that your well-spent money will go to a young cancer patient’s medical treatment. So hope to see you there.
