What’s Up, Doc? Carrot Cake, That’s What
Speaking of beta-carotene (see our Food Synergy post), we set out to find the best version of carrot cake in town. Between the five of us, there were two who liked carrot cake, two who weren’t sure and one who only recently realized that carrot cake actually contains carrots. As you can see, we’re experts.
The Verdict
The frosting set went for Milly’s while Dareen’s cake was a big winner. We frankensteined the two to monstrously
delicious effect (with apologies to the chefs). Wagas pulled in right under those two. Unlike in many of our taste tests, all the entrants came out kicking – but Lollipop was ultimately deemed the least carroty of the bunch, so maybe we should stick to their red velvet variety.
