After almost two years of steadily impressive reviews, the Shunyi spot recently received its first tbj Reader’s Bar & Club Awards gong. The Beijing suburbanati will tell you it was about time.

A cozy lounge with big-screen TVs showing sport, and a sizeable outdoor terrace overlooking the banks of the lake

Shunyi residents, parents awaiting the school pick-up and beleaguered teachers stopping by for a drink before heading back downtown
