Midi Moves: Festival Site Confirmed
Such is the fervent nature of the Beijing music festival season, there are the odd tweaks to the lineup, cancellations, late additions, and, in some cases, the complete upheaval of a festival venue.
It has now been confirmed that the venue for Midi Music Festival (April 29 – May 1) will be the Olympic Rowing Park in Shunyi.
This was the originally stated venue, before it was revealed that the event was looking for a new home after the local government department expressed fears of noise disturbance in the neighborhood. But organizers have now confirmed the annual brouhaha will go ahead in Shunyi as initially planned.
