Prost: Celebrate Maifest in Beijing

No one celebrates months like Germany, and while October gets most of the press, May is a close second. This weekend a couple German places in the city are celebrating Maifest which means lots of beer and pretzels.

The main event is out at Paulaner Brauhaus where the beers are brewed in-house. Last night the May pole was raised in their beer garden, the lederhosen were worn, and the tubas were out which means it’s time to party, one that will continue all weekend. Tonight or Saturday drop in for their Maifest dinner (a la carte) or stop in Saturday or Sunday for the Maifest brunch (RMB 348+15%) complete with free flow Paulaner draught. The outdoor garden will

Down at Gongti, Drei Kronen 1308 is offering all you can drink on four beers (RMB 198), through the weekend.

Tonight and tomorrow, Hopfenstube are offering their own special on free flow brewed beer (RMB 88).
