Weekend Live Music Roundup: SUBS, Future Concerts, Drummer Festival

The world has been moving too fast, before we haven't noticed, we are already in the future. One sign of it: only music is not enough for most people. Nowadays, we have lights, fancy stage settings and probably some surprises come with music all the time. If you are fan to such things, the fifth anniversary of NO+CH is here, two "future concerts" in Sanlitun will make sure that you'll have a good time this weekend.

It's not enough? How about documentary movies about the coolest bands with their music? A series of events which will show a documentary movie about one band each time following with this band's live performance. The monthly event will have its debut tonight with SUBS. They promised the "Ultimate Live Experience."

There are still people doing the basics, even more basic than usual, they present mostly only the beats. There are two major events for rhythm lovers: the Afrobeat Festival tonight and the Beijing Drummer Festival on Sunday.
