i heard this little Yunnan restaurant from a few friends, and since i just visited the province one month ago, eventually decided to give a go, not too hard to find, and once i entered this little courtyard restaurant, immediately fell in love with it, cozy, warm, very relaxing...my friend and I tried some of the Yunnan specialties, guoqiao mixian, crossing bridge noodles, it must has at least 20 kinds of ingredients, a giant bowl of tasty soups, delicious. ru bing, fried goat's cheese, heard a lot of raves about this, became my favorite dish too. jasmine with eggs, yummy, their own brand of rice wine, very smoothy, like it.
price is very affordable, comparing with the restaurants in Chaoyang district, a great deal, after the meal, we went further for a walk around Houhai, and Nan Luo Gu Xiang, a great day indeed.
