Do You Dare Try These Odd Burger and Pizza Flavors?

Alright, folks, buckle up because the fast-food world is spinning with more wild collabs and seasonal flavors. Yesterday we gabbed about some drink mashups, but today, let's chew over the burger and pizza scene and see who's doing what.

KFC X FEI ZAP MAI LAAN - Noodle This!

KFC's answer to McDonald's new (and lackluster) Crispy Chicken Big Mac? Rice noodles on a sandwich. They've teamed up with FEI ZAP MAI LAAN, a Hong Kongnese rice noodle brand that doesn't do "bland." The result is a noodle-topped chicken combo with a nice sour and spicy kick, with a bit of pickled pizzazz that's reminiscent of snail rice noodles.

And wait, there's more! The KFC lab has concocted the Sichuan Spicy Chicken Burger, launching Jan 15. It's a classic KFC fried chicken sandwich with a penchant for Sichuan flavors, all dolled up with spicy chili and peanut butter sauce.


WasPark - Squid Pro Quo

WasPark has been playing matchmaker since last October with a grilled squid and beef patty union that's been turning heads. Plus, they've got a new combo, the 小宝堡稀烂堡 xiǎo bǎo bǎo xīlàn bǎo series, featuring mini versions of their larger burger faves.


Big Pizza - The Flavor Factory

Big Pizza has three new offerings. The most intriguing of the bunch takes takoyaki, that classic ball of octopus and batter from Osaka, and puts it atop pizza with bonito flakes and mayo. If that's a bit too much for your taste, there are other... odd but not so odd offerings. These include Fried Potato and Bacon, a Sweet Veg option, and a Mustard and Bacon Pizza.


Pizza Marzano - Winter Dough Land

Last but not least, Pizza Marzano's keeping things cool but cozy with their winter menu. Seeking solace from the cold? Wrap your mitts around their Veggie Cheese Pizza that's like a blanket of seasonal veggies on a crust.
