All the Remaining Vendors Joining Us for Juicy Burger Fest

We hope that yesterday’s post on vendors offering up exclusive burgers only for Juicy Burger Festival got you salivating in anticipation for this coming weekend (Jul 7-9)! But wait, we have even more vendors!

Yes, today we’ll be taking a look at the remaining vendors joining the fest, and what a great selection they are, from familiar faces to complete newbies, one thing they’ve all got in common is some delicious treats in store.

TABASCO

Besides bringing Louisiana spice born from the Tabasco peppers of Avery Island, American hot sauce brand and title sponsor TABASCO Brand will once again be bringing their “Hot Shot” game to the festival. The name of the game is simple, shoot as many balls as you can in one minute, if you get three or more then you’ll get a prize!

CHEERS

Along with their usual wine offerings, CHEERS will be serving up four different cocktails: Aperol Spritz, Spicy Sparkling Margarita, Gin & Tonic and Paloma, plus two brand new Sorbets made with wine (available in red and white: Pinot Noir and Riesling). We are particularly intrigued by the Spicy Sparkling Margarita, which takes a classic margarita and turns it up a fiery notch with the addition of fresh jalapeños and a splash of club soda. For those looking to cool off, the Riesling and Pinot Noir Sorbets are the ideal solution. A wine slushy style drink they’re a great respite on a hot summer’s day.

Slowboat

Proud six-time Juicy Burger Cup champ Slowboat will be bringing five of their award-winning burgers to Burger Fest this year: The Classic, Lao Thai Thai, The Fryburger, The Okie Double Smash Burger, and Xicha Cheeseburger.  Their must-try burger is the Lao Thai Thai, a Thai-inspired burger that sees one of their 100 percent beef patties smothered in peanut sauce, then topped with a slice of grilled pineapple, spicy sauce, and Thai basil. It’s savory, sweet, and spicy all in one!

Along with burgers, they’ll also be bringing back their Drink Like A Fish Drinking Contest, in which blindfolded teams of two have to feed each other beer and drink as much as possible with the least spillage in the allocated time. Winners get a case of their Drink Like A Fish Drinking Pilsner.

iGELATO

iGELATO only uses fresh, natural ingredients with zero additives in their made fresh daily gelato. Their gelato is also low in sugar and fat and is made using traditional Italian methods.

KFC

A newcomer to the festival is fast food chain KFC and they’ll be bringing two burgers to the festival: the Ultra Cheese 2.0 Waygu Beef Burger and Triple Deck Waygu Beef Burger. The one to watch out for is the Ultra Cheese which takes a rich, thick cheese sauce and pours it all over one of their grain-fed Longjiang Wagyu beef patties for a truly decadent, cheesy experience.

Goose Island Taproom

One of the newer burger slingers in town and another Fest first timer is American brewhouse Goose Island. For Burger Fest, they’ll be serving their Brewmaster Beer Cheese Burger and Bacon Cheese Burger. The former combines a 200g beef patty with Goose Island 312 beer cheese, smoked tomato relish, bacon jam and to finish it all off a smear of Goose Island 312 beer mustard to add a tangy kick. Besides burgers, they’ll also have their special Beijing brew Peking Goose, a saison-style beer brewed with smoked plum and hawthorn juice, for a perfect balance of sweet and sour.

Great Leap Brewing

Beijing stalwart Great Leap is keeping things simple with their The Old Fashioned Burger and The Bacon Cheese Burger. The latter is their recommended option with an all-imported Australian Angus beef patty, roasted tomato sauce, and choice bacon. They’ll also be offering some free teaser burgers at the fest to get you hooked!

LUSH

Although Wudoakao veteran Lush has been around since 2003, this will be their first time joining the Burger Festival – guys what took you so long!? For the vegans out there, Lush have you covered with their Vegan Chicken Burger, made from soybeans it comes served with pineapple, onion, BBQ sauce, and coconut sauce.

For meat eaters, they’ve got the Lush Classic Beef Burger, Mexican Beef Burger, and Mini Burgers. The one to go for has to, of course, be the Lush Classic Beef Burger. It's made with New Zealand Angus beef, American bell cheese, and fresh seasonal vegetables. Former Beijing university and exchange students are sure to get a taste of nostalgia with each bite.

Tough Tongue

Bringing the meaning to the tongue in their name, Tough Tongue will be serving up the Tough Guy Garlic Ox Tongue Beef Burger. Slices of ox tongue are combined with garlic, sesame, and sweet and sour sauce then layered on top of a thick beef patty with fresh tomatoes and lettuce creating one rich, meaty experience. If you fancy yourself a bit of a drinker they’ll also have a beer-drinking challenge where participants who finish a beer within eight seconds can win themselves a can/glass of beer and those within six seconds two cans/glasses of beer.

Bay Area Bar & Restaurant

BAY AREA BAR will have their Bay Big Baby Double Beef Cheese Burger and Bay Black Truffle Beef Burger at Burger Fest. A new addition to their menu the Bay Big Baby Double Beef Cheese Burger uses fresh beef mixed with seven types of seasoning for their patties. It's then paired with imported cheddar cheese, pickled cucumbers, and secret shredded onions.

CUBE COFFEE

If you’re after a caffeine boost during Burger Fest, then CUBE COFFEE have you covered! A brand dedicated to integrating coffee culture with art, they’ll have a range of their signature coffees on offer to give you that much needed pick-me-up.

DRINKS LAB

DRINKS LAB will be serving up all manner of cocktails, be they long, short, classic, or even non-alcoholic for those non-drinkers out there. For said non-drinkers they have two carefully crafted non-alcoholic cocktails: Non-Alcohol Peach Mojito and Non-Alcohol Mango Mojito. A cute, themed addition to the drinks they’ll be serving on the day is Monkey King shaped ice cubes.

MORROW Grill & Cantina

Mexican restaurant MORROW will have two burgers up for grabs this weekend: Black Truffle Double Beef Cheese Burger and Pistachio Pesto Double Beef Burger. The former is centered around a double beef patty that’s mixed with Sichuan black truffles, allspice, nutmeg and Mexican guajilo smoked chili loaded up with cheese. Coupled with a beer it’s the ultimate flavor combination.

HYATT REGENCY BEIJING WANGJING

HYATT REGENCY BEIJING WANGJING will be serving two burgers: The Classic Hyatt Regency Wagyu Beef Burger and a Pork Burger. The former is one of the signature dishes from their Market Café, featuring a hefty 300g Wagyu beef patty crowned with a slice of Gruyere cheese and lashings of their secret sauce it’s juicy, tender, and full of flavor.

Side Street

2020 Juicy Burger Cup champ Side Street has five different burgers on the menu, including a vegan option: The KO, The Cholo, Squatter, Hutong Hipster, and the Desperado. The latter is a brand new addition to their menu that they are debuting at Burger Fest – double Angus beef smash patties are topped with red and white cheddar cheese, onion, crispy Indian snacks, and signature Desperado sauce sandwiched between a sesame bun.

For vegans, their Hutong Hipster is one of the best veggie burgers in Beijing, made from a spicy spinach and potato combination layered with red onion, tomato, lettuce, tamarind sauce, and mint sauce it’s an explosion of flavor in every bite.

Beersmith

Ranking fourth place in last year’s Juicy Burger Cup, Beersmith will be serving a plethora of burgers at the fest: Bacon BBQ Burger, Angus Cheese Burger, No Meat Burger, Crispy Chicken Burger, and Beersmith Beef Sliders. The one to try has to be their most popular burger: the Beersmith Cheese Burger, where cheddar cheese is melted over a 200g Angus beef patty and smeared with mustard mayo for a slight kick. For vegetarians, there is the No Meat Burger, which features an omni-pork patty with chipotle mayo, jalapenos, and lettuce in a brioche bun.

Gou Taproom

Gou Taproom is going Chinese fusion with their Pineapple Beef Mantou Burger. A handcrafted beef patty is crowned with a thick slice of pineapple and for the twist they swap out a regular burger bun for a mantou bun instead.
