Mosto Nears Fundraising Goal; Aims to Reopen Tomorrow, Jul 14

Yesterday, Mosto put out a call for help, and Beijing has answered, helping the restaurant raise over RMB 280 thousand – just shy of their goal for reopening.

Having opened in 2008, the restaurant – owned and operated by Eva Biörck, her husband Alex Molina and business partner and chef Daniel Urdaneta – is aiming to raise a total of RMB 450 thousand, which will be used to cover contract renewal fees at Nali Patio.

Currently, the restaurant is aiming to raise RMB 170 thousand to hit that goal, so you can still pitch in and help by grabbing one of their special membership offers, which are as follows:

RMB 1000 to spend in Mosto

RMB 3000 to spend in Mosto, and have your name engraved on their Members Wall

RMB 6000 to spend in Mosto, have your name engraved on their Members Wall, and a Mosto table*

RMB 12,000 for all of the above plus a cocktail named in your honor on the menu forever*

Also, anyone who lends their support will be invited to Mosto’s Members’ Exclusive Party in September.

The restaurant has told us that if the goal can be reached by tomorrow (Jul 14), then they’ll be aiming to reopen that same day, so lend a hand so you can enjoy a meal at Mosto tomorrow! That being said, the group is currently only aiming to open the restaurant, and is still waiting to reopen their latin bar La Social and the Nali Patio location of Moka Bros.

Plus, don’t forget that Mosto is one of many restaurants that have been hit hard by Covid restrictions, closing and reopening, and a slew of other issues over the past three years, so as always it’s a good idea to support your favorite restaurants in whichever way you can.

*Although the tables and drinks were limited yesterday, Mosto has since opened more tables and is offering more chances to get a cocktail with your name on it!
