Shaken, Not Stirred: Tickets for the British Ball on Sale Now
The British Charity Ball is back for 2012 on November 10 and this year's theme is 007. To be more accurate, the theme of this year's black-tie event is "Shaken, Not Stirred" ... but that's our man all over.
The Kerry Hotel ballroom is the fitting venue and tickets are on sale now from both the hotel (just pop in) and the British Ball organizing committee (email britishball@gmail.com). They are priced at RMB 1,000 per person but it is all-you-can-drink on top of the four-course meal and it's all for a very good cause.
More importantly, what on earth are you going to wear? We thought you should have a look at classic Bond tuxes (and George Lazenby's) for some pointers.
And, as if you need to get any more excited for your Bond-themed November, here's the trailer for Skyfall. The movie is out in Beijing on November 2nd.

We've had word from the British Ball organizing committee to say that all of the pre-booking tickets are now sold out. If anyone cancels or fails to pay for their ticket then you're still in with a chance of a big night on November 10 if you sing up to the waiting list. Get on the list by emailing britishball@gmail.com.
