The Beijinger New Music Showcase: We Want You!

the Beijinger's inaugural New Music Showcase is all set to go ahead next month and now there's just one tiny ingredient missing: talented new musicians. Do you and your mates have a group? Do you think you could handle it performing live at our first summer showcase? Have you got any original material? Can you send an email with an attachment? If the answer to all these questions is 'yes,' then you're halfway to performing at the Beijinger's 2012 New Music Showcase on August 18th at 2 Kolegas.

If you're a new, unsigned Beijing band, then all you need to do now is send a sample of your sound to our talent scout at victoriayang@truerun.com before July 27 so that she can give you a Simon Cowell-style going over. If you get the nod, we'll be in touch about a potential slot at our showcase. All sounds and genres are welcome, so get to work on that demo!

If you aren't in a band, then you have time to form one and get really good. Or you can leave a comment with the best new bands you've seen and we'll look into contacting them.
