What you will do

• Pitch and write articles about bars & clubs for the Beijinger magazine and TheBeijinger.com
• Interview Beijing’s nightlife personalities
• Blog about the city's nightlife scene
• Represent the Beijinger at events
• Conduct research for (and contribute reporting to) articles by other staff writers and editors
• Constantly seek new ways for the Beijinger to engage with its readers and the community at large

• Native English speaker with advanced Chinese skills (OR native Chinese speaker with a solid command of written and spoken English)

• Broad knowledge of Beijing's diverse nightlife scene
• A distinctive editorial voice
• Passionate about self-improvement
• Playful, versatile and quick to learn

Desirable traits

• Previous media experience
• Blogging experience (in Chinese or English)
• Active on social media (Weibo, Dianping, Facebook, etc.)
• Photography skills
