Located behind Shangdu SOHO in Zhongjun World City, the winners of our 2023 Cheesy Pizza Cup have made a splash in Beijing ever since they came up north from Shanghai last year. Go for the big 24 inch pies, pizza-by-the-slice, inventive snacks, and their creative branded beers.

This little shop in SOHO Shangdu makes great burgers, chicken sandwiches and patty melts all at reasonable prices with some bomb sides to boot.

Poly Cafe’s chic digs and offbeat Indonesian and Columbian coffees make it well worth a visit to Chaowai Soho.

Opened by the former bodybuilding champion, Constantin Colberg, Colberg Fitness boasts international fitness instructors who are trained to help everyone from beginners to lifters wanting to compete.

This small shop serves a half dozen freshly pressed fruit juice options (RMB 18 each), fruit milkshakes (RMB 10 for small or RMB 15 for large) and dirty coffees (RMB 22 each).

Wudo Gongfu Taiji Studio provides top-quality instruction in a variety of Chinese martial arts as well as fitness and general self defense. Group classes and private instruction available, as well as kids' classes. All three instructors hail from Shaolin Temple or Chen Village, and all are graduates of Beijing Sports University, with degrees from the Martial Arts Department.

Featured martial arts include Shaolin styles, Cnen Tai Chi and standard 24 Tai Chi, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing), and a variety of weapons.

An offshoot of Monkey Mountain Records (an independent Beijing-based label), Monkey Mountain Club is a live music venue with a relaxed vibe. A local crowd enjoys pizza, pasta, and sandwiches with their bottled beers and regular live performances.
