They cater to English customers, yet staff could not speak or read English. I speak OK and was with a Chinese friend. Many of the items (especially colas) were not available.
I wanted to treat my friend to a root beer float. They returned with a glass of ice cream and (we measured) 5 tablespoons of ice cream. Since it was nearly 10rmb to get the ice cream, we asked that they give her a proper amount. They gave her more then disappeared.... the cola did not get to the table until the ice cream was liquid. There were only 4 tables of customers. They were not busy.
My friend ordered a tuna sandwich and I very clearly ordered salad (pointing to menu and using interpreter). They returned with 2 sandwiches dripping wet with butter. It took 5 minutes before the waitress would return it for the salad. The manager, who spoke moderate English, returned and offered me the sandwich at the salad price - a savings of 3 Yuan. No deal. She was visibly upset. I got my salad and they had clearly taken the tuna from the sandwich and put it on lettuce. Half of the tuna was hot and some was cold. They then refused us any service.
When I went to pay the manager and 2 staff curiously came to the register to watch us pay. I see why. They tried to charge me for TWO sandwiches and the salad. I caught them. The manager said I ordered a sandwich and it wasn't their fault. We disagreed. She then subtracted the sandwich and added 8rmb for "extra" ice cream when the sandwich scam did not work.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. NO ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF, MENU NOT FULLY STOCKED, HORRIBLE SERVICE, HIGH PRICES, BAD QUALITY AND LITERALLY TRIED TO STEAL FROM ME!!!

Re: Wudaokou Branch WARNING!!!! High prices, low quality, ...
Uhhm, they happened to have spoons on the table and we happen to eat with spoons. I'm guessing you posted your picture ....babies to tend to eat with their hands.
That was years ago. A friend popped into Wudaokou and begged me to go in because she had been to the other one and loved it. I won't recount the entire experience, but they did not have any of the foreign colas available on the menu, did not have the first two dishes she wanted because they didn't have the inventory. This place is still just as bad as before. It was not an isolated incident. Not sure how they stay afloat. I haven't been to the other one. She swears by it but said this place in no way resembles the service and quality of the original. Judgement stands and confirmed.
