Review of Duck de Chine
Questionable Bollinger pairing aside, this industrial-chic duck emporium is one of Beijing's best. Like Da Dong, the ducks are roasted a little longer (65 minutes apparently), so less oily (and marginally less succulent) than traditional Quanjude type birds. Aside from the traditional whole roasted duck (announced by a gong), the duck tacos are worth a try, served with a good fruity salsa, and the duck liver on toast - warm, rich and creamy - is a treat.
