I concur with Mon_Fri's comments regarding Jenny Lou's consistent avoidance of fapiaos. Other than the scratch-off prize, I don't have any real use for a fapiao since I'm not on an expat package, but even so, the employees' excuses and lack of professionalism are annoying. I've asked for fapiaos at 3 different locations multiple times without success.
Watch the your purchases being rung up very carefully at this place. Jenny Lou's is shady, shady, sh1t. Sometimes you just have to get something from Jenny Lou's, but it should really be your last choice. Items will often scan at prices higher than you thought, and I've read of some customers being charged for items they didn't purchase.
One example of Jenny Lou's shadiness: I was at the Dongzhimen branch this past weekend. I saw that they had bundled 3 bottles of Erdinger Weissbier together with heavy tape. On the tape, it read "buy 2 get 1 free" in Chinese. The price tag on the shelf below the beer showed "19 kuai" (or something around that). I did some quick mental math: 19 kuai divided by 3 is a little over 6 kuai a beer. "Rad!", I thought to myself. "That's cheaper than that 500 ml green can of fancy Qingdao I get at the smelly Nong Chao Shi by my place."
At the checkout, it rang up as 19 kuai per beer. That comes out to over 12 kuai per bottle of beer, not a bad price, but it's twice as much as Jenny Lou's clever marketing would have it seem to be.
In conclusion, Jenny Lou's is not going to rip you off in an obvious way. They'll very subtly do things like add stuff to your bill, jerk you around with the fa piaos, and have bizarre specials that aren't as good as they sound. Pay very close attention to everything at this place. They will mercilessly take advantage of you given the opportunity.
