Before Steps opened up I was not expecting much, since every place there before it closed down and was not that exciting. But this time they seem to have gotten it right, and I think it is actually owned by whoever owns Labamba.
Anyways I go there every other day to have their daily specials, and I the food is pretty good! I got the steak sandwhich for 18 kuai and that was good, and today I just the buffalo burger which was amazing! I was shocked that a buffalo burger was good since they are normally sloppy n' gross, but this was crisp and tangy. Also the wings are real good, on par with Pyro only cheaper.
The inside design is pretty good, its got that warm feeling similar to Labamba only cleaner since it is brand new. The cheap beer is Tiger here while Qingdao is a little more expensive.
Id say it would be a good place to go after a date since the drinks are not that expensive.
