Born and bred in China, Sarah Peng is one of the best English language standup comedians in China. Sarah has been performing standup comedy in English for the last 5 years and she has performed in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan, Chicago and Singapore. In 2017, Sarah shared her experience as a Chinese female standup comedian in her TEDx talk “why I do standup comedy in English?” On stage, Sarah wants to develop her own unique voice. She believes standup comedy can be a tool for cross-culture communication and comedy connect people and the world.

Other than standup comedy, Sarah Peng has over 9 years of teaching experience in university. Sarah currently is teaching law in the largest international joint venture university in China.
