What is BlackEXPO?

BlackEXPO is a new project from two Beijing based creatives and entrepreneurs who wanted to create a space to share their cultures with the Beijing community and shift the narrative on China’s ever-growing Black community. More than just a market, BlackEXPO is a lit cultural experience placing the spotlight on the community and businesses, services, and talents therein. Taking place from 12-6pm at the Chaoyang Culture Center in the Neiwubu Hutongs, BlackEXPO will bring together fashion houses, hand crafted jewellery, up and coming food & beverage concepts, and the hottest artists in Beijing for a day long market and cultural experience. Also featuring live performances of music, poetry, and art, BlackEXPO is an immersive experience that seeks to bridge the gap between cultures.

BlackEXPO was born out of a simple desire; to illuminate the positive contributions of the community here in Beijing.

Open to the entire Beijing community, BlackEXPO is a unique opportunity to further shape the Black narrative here in China and in the world at large.
