Meridian Space joins the biggest celebration of Music of the season, La Fête de la Musique, bringing a superb line-up to keep your head ringing with bleeps, ambient and other experimental musical delicacies by the talented thruoutin, MengQi, anxt and Mohemann.
The artists' performances will offer a musical "map" of the post-modern city).

thruoutin
American born electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist, thruoutin, has been based in China since 2009. His work varies from project to project, but often revolves around the combining of different genres and with a focus on organicand digital sounds. Listen to his mix-tape below!!!
anxt
Originally from Cape Town (South Africa) anxt fuses an array of musical elements to create moody electronic soundscapes. Setting the mood with urban field recordings and a dose of hip hop-carved beats, he will take you on a journey in the world he inhabits.
He is also part of the musical project Macondo, which has been making waves around Beijing’s music scene, to which he lends his skills as producer and songwriter, to create high energy “Electronic Post Rock”.
anxt will also be releasing his very first SINGLE and its MV directed by our beloved friend Hannes -Knuttson-Hall on that very same day, June 21 2017, so be ready to get copies and the most various merchandise to show your support to this artist.

MengQi
Meng Qi has multiple identities. He’s not only a electronic musician, but also a synth designer, a programmer and a teacher. Meng Qi had various music works released including “landscape in love” / “landscape on live” and more, and has published a series of modular synthesis tutorials on midifan and ZiHua. Apart from college teaching, he also had building workshops and lectures at various places.
Meng Qi is a pioneer of Chinese contemporary digital art, and is famous for his music and distinctive devices and instruments, which have been used by electronic music artists all over the world.
Mohemann
Mohemann is influenced by techno, ambient and minimal electronic music. His music has a calm, introverted, sometimes saturated vibe. Beside DJ’ing, he is also a contemporary art critic and curates art exhibitions.
