Originated from Wuxi in 1988, Shao Restaurant already has six locations in Beijing, including Wangjing, CBD, and Baiziwan. Considering five out of its six locations are in Chaoyang District, it’s quite obvious that their target customers are office workers. The signature noodle with crab sauce costs RMB 29, with a bowl of dry noodles, a small plate of crab sauce, and a bowl of soup. Toppings like more crab sauce (RMB 25), braised meat (RMB 25), and meatballs (RMB 15) are available to add to the noodle. Xiaolongbao (小笼包), 4 pieces for RMB 22, or 12 pieces for 55. They also provide pork buns, RMB 25 for 12 pieces. For the ones who crave for rice, there are rice with crab sauce and shrimp (RMB 39), braised meat and rice (RMB 31), and the luxury rice with crab roe and crab paste (RMB 128).
