iPhones Predict First Snow of the Winter for Monday, Oct 31
iPhone users opening up their weather app were surprised this morning to see that the first snow of the winter has already been predicted for Monday, October 31. Spooky? Nope, just weather.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your weather preference, BBC weather predictions don't predict snow for Monday, but according to their report, temperatures will still fall below zero degrees Celcius starting next Tuesday.
This is only a few days earlier than last year, when the first snowflakes fell on November 5, and there was plenty of it, leading to some incredible snowscapes captured by Beijing's avid Instagrammers.
Unfortunately our heating isn't set to be turned on until November 15, so stay warm and wrap up. Or get out there and sample some of Beijing's newest warm boozy concoctions.

Looks like we may have to wait a little longer for the first snow, but at least today is a gorgeous day!

Wouldn't be the first time. Snowed Halloween night in 2008 or 2009, I believe.
