The Kikuchi Naruko DUB Sextet is a star-studded ensemble. Kikuchi played the saxophone himself, and he created a double-pipe lineup with the popular trumpeter Shihei Ping and his own baritone saxophones (sometimes Kikuchi takes the stage with a high-pitched saxophony). In addition to the charming piano of Tsubguchi Masato, the bassist of Pepe Tormento Azucarar, and the strongest drummer of the Mesozoic era in Japanese jazz, Joya Honda, The five-man lineup was so powerful that it was eventually recreated by Dub engineer Pardon Kimura in a wonderful voice to add exotic sound effects to the album recording, or to recreate the sound in real time for the band's live performance.

After 12 years of hiatus, the DUB Sextet finally returns. Katsunobu Kiki has accepted SATORI's invitation, and he and the entire original team of the DUB Six will be on the Blue Note China stage in March 2025, marking the first tour of the legendary contemporary Japanese jazz ensemble in China.
