Gao Taihang is a saxophonist and composer who has been active in the Beijing jazz scene since 2006。As one of the members of the Red Hand quintet and the leader of his own quartet, he made important contributions to Beijing jazz music. He was part of a band that also included the Summer Jazz Quartet,Rafal Sarnecki, “Bad Monk”, “David", "Beijing Blue Note Big Band", "Three Sergeants Syndrome", "Beijing City Big Band", "Afrokoko Roots" and "Not necessarily"。He has participated in the Ninemen Jazz Festival, the Turtle Island Jazz Festival, New Lagoon Jazz Festival, Guangzhou Jazz Festival, Fluffy Jazz Festival and the Grounds Festival. In April 2019, Takayuki and pianist Jia Xia released the original album Stream.He currently teaches at the Beijing Institute of Contemporary Music.
