Su Chang is a saxophonist and composer from Beijing who teaches at the Beijing Conservatory of Modern Music. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in August 2019, becoming the first Jazz PhD in China. Su Chang combined jazz with Chinese elements and released his first original jazz big band album in 2018 "Chasing the Dream" . In January 2017, Su Chang was selected as one of the 2017 Young Jazz Composers by the American Jazzeducation Summit, and was invited to present his finalist work " Zhongshan Park
