In DJing / hosting parties and more of my life, I often feel a self-signal warning - often being widely rejected, denied, and isolated because of the persistence of one's true beliefs. This is undoubtedly a burning of self-pity and suspicion. I got some thoughts when I put together the following observations:

"Being yourself" is a question that should be examined.

In social development, the pursuit of "authenticity" is born out of dissatisfaction with the status quo of things. Between the old and the new, the self becomes itself.

Try to do what the individual asks. Caring for the self does not deconstruct society, but promotes the efficiency of the individual at work - a concept of the "self" that Plato's < The Republic > has briefly elaborated. Plato envisaged a predetermined social function for each person. Once he gets there, his nature becomes one with himself, and he is at peace in a static balance. The Guardians must "assign to each a place appropriate to his nature." As soon as a man is placed in the place where he was born (whether artisan, soldier, or philosopher), the idle part of his character disappears, "every part of it functions properly," and he assumes the perfect balance of what Plato called "justice."
