This time at Blue Note Beijing, I will bring you the most inspiring and representative songs from my life in New York and learning jazz. It includes Wayne Shorter, my personal favorite jazz musician and teacher Mark Turner, andKurt Rosenwinkel, with whom I have long worked to lay the foundation for modern jazz guitar soundin the composition.

Inspired by Kurt's legendary band "The Next Step," the lineup of this band will be based on my favorite guitar trio, adding Gao Taihang's Alto saxophone, bringing a whole new level to the band, and at the same time providing more space for guitar and wind to explore and interact harmonically.
