LS Lee, who has lived in Beijing for nearly a decade, captures the daily lives of people through photography. By finding the right light, composition, and timing, he aims to reveal the true scenes of life. While human circumstances are universal, in a vast city like Beijing, these circumstances are magnified: they are both intensely captivating and confusing.

In the exhibition, the Black-and-White photographs simplify the city's chaos, making the human subject the core focus and vividly showcasing the essence of individuals. The color photographs balance the Black-and-White ones, depicting the ever-changing Beijing and revealing the essence of people in urban life—returning to the chaos after a brief respite to continuously seek the core.
