Marc is a jazz pianist, classical organist, and occasionally drummer. He received his final degree in classical music from the conservatories of Luxembourg and Strasbourg. As a jazz musician, he is mainly self-taught, just like all musicians of his generation. Still, he was instructed to attend the seminar with John Taylor, Norma Winston, Peter Herbert Hertzheim, Philip Catherine, John Marshal, and others. In 1986, he received the French "National Diploma of Jazz Professor."
