Jazz courier is a huge inheritance system, whether from the humanities or music. Its earliest form was a Late Night Session long held by Art Blakey and Horace Silver in Cafe Bohemia in the late 1940s. From the first day on, they have made clear the core concept: to find the innovation and energy of young people, and to inherit the jazz spirit! So Art Blakey & Jazz Messengers is no longer as simple as a band, but more like an organization. The nature of this layer has never changed in the years since, with more than 400 Jazz Temple masters joining the group, and even when Mr. Blakey died in 1990, the blood continued.
