Jointly sponsored by the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts and the Liaoning Provincial Museum, the exhibition "Faith in Mountains and Forests in the City: The Hidden and Scholars, Objects and Hearts of Ancient Literati" was launched at the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum on March 3.

The exhibition united the Palace Museum, Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Guangdong Provincial Museum, Capital Museum, Tianjin Museum, Suzhou Museum and other domestic heavyweight cultural and museum units, and took two years to plan. Taking the perspective of ancient Chinese literati from the perspective of viewing objects and understanding the mind as a clue, the exhibition tells the material life and spiritual home of the Chinese people carried by the garden through four sections: the heart of Lin Quan, the elegant tour of the Yiyi, the heaven and earth in the pot, and the reflection of poetry and painting. A total of 48 sets of ancient Chinese calligraphy and paintings since the Yuan Dynasty were exhibited, gathering works by Zhao Mengfu, Zhou Chen, Wen Zhengming, Zhu Yunming, Tang Yin, Qiu Ying, Dai Jin, Chen Chun, Chen Hongshou, Shi Tao and many other famous artists. At the same time, in terms of environmental creation, the space design borrows the characteristics of Chinese gardens to move to different scenes, hoping to bring an immersive garden journey to the audience.
