On Saturday, May 29, Spittoon turns six years old, and we're inviting the city to an all-day party.

Starting at noon, we'll be at Aotu. Festivities include:

— Rooftop readings organized by each of Spittoon's event hosts

— A glimpse at Spittoon’s latest project, Spittoon Theater, with scenes presented from T.S. Eliot’s The Cocktail Party

— A workshop on how to use the digital illustration / live art program Tagtool

— Tunes from DJ Boss Cuts and DJ Loooongish Cat

— Haiku contest, photo booth, flip cup and other literary drinking games

— A special Spittoon cocktail for 40 RMB

— And last but not least, a mini Spit-Tunes performance starting at 6 p.m., featuring:

• Loooongish Cat with spoken-word poet Kat


• Poetry x Music Band
