Pre-Hispanic Mexican food is understood to be that which existed in Mesoamerica before the arrival of the Spanish in 1521. In this historical period, the indigenous people ate mainly corn, chili, beans, squash, nopales, cocoa, among others, and rabbit, turkey, and some insects for proteins.

This Mexican Dinner offers an intimate dining experience, giving you the opportunity to learn Mexican history, the ancient story of the dishes, preparation, and secrets behind them while pairing with two of the most traditional Mexican spirits: tequila and mezcal. Engage with the host as she introduces the background and inspiration behind each course. The menu will include some of the main ingredients of this special cuisine, transporting you to a traditional night out in a Mexican restaurant, where music, food, and agave liquors will enclose the whole experience.
