In a talk and slideshow, architectural and history expert Matthew Hu will tell how one of the best-preserved wooden places in the world was built and share stories of palace intrigue, from the Ming Dynasty's arrival to the palace in 1420 until the departure of the last Qing emperor Pu Yi.
