During this arduous epidemic; the borders of China and the Philippines are closed, people are staying at home, and the economy is declining rapidly. Some Pinoys face separation from their families and some are facing unemployment. As FilComBei, we hope to unite people in Beijing, giving them a greater connection to our home country. Moreover, we wish to give them warmth, support, and encouragement. We are scheduling an informal sharing on the “road to success despite difficulties.”
 
The goal is to create an inspirational meeting space for fellow Filipinos to come together and share ideas and shared experiences. This will be especially beneficial considering the trying times the Filipino community in Beijing has come through.

Agenda: This sharing will have business and community leaders in Beijing give advice based on the successes they have achieved through the pandemic.
 
Speakers/topics: We will introduce the owner of Mesa Madre, Ms. Gemmicah Grith Garcia Argonza, and Lenore’s pub part-owner Mr. Alvin Paul Almario. Both of whom opened up businesses during a time when opportunities seemed scarce.
