Maovember officially kicks off this Friday, Nov 1 with a launch party at Hulu! From 6.30pm onwards, you are invited to this terrace party, where for RMB 150, you'll get one hot drink or wine, a 2019 Maovember pin, and snacks, with more drinks available throughout the night.

The made-to-order mulled wine stand will return and guests also have a second option: hot whiskey, ginger, and Coke, a twist on a Chinese remedy for the cold!

The event will also mark the launch of the Maovember 2019 pin, which features “green” theme in an effort to reuse leftover pins from the past few campaigns. Pins are RMB 50, with all proceeds going toward this year's benefactor, The Library Project.

What’s more, there’ll be games to round the whole thing out, with the chance to win boozy prizes to boot!
