Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, Notre Dame de Paris has been a hugely successful musical since its debut in 1998, with runs around the world, and translations into nine different languages. See it in Beijing on August 18th at the Tianqiao Performing Art Centre. The performance is in French with English and Chinese subtitles.
