Background
Throughout the world，17 million barrels of crude oil are used for producing plastic bottles each year. Up to 500 billion plastic bags are consumed each year. About 1 million plastic bottles are sold per minute, 13 million tons of plastic waste are flowing into the ocean each year. About 15 million marine organisms die from plastic waste each year. 93% of the bottled water contains plastic particles and 83% of the tap water contains plastic particles.
About the film
This film is about the investigation of the environmental impact of the pollution after the film documentary filmmaker discovered that the world's oceans were full of plastic waste.
