The hippie 60’s, the wacky 70’s, and the full of hits 80’s are cool, ok, we know, but what about the 90’s? It seems it is a decade that it is a bit pass through, because we were already there or it might be too close to think about it nostalgically… we don’t think so! Let’s take a minute and think about it:

Michael Jackson made history in the Super Bowl; Madonna became much more than just a singer, she became a writer, an actress and a sex symbol; the Spice Girls were born, changing just not the music scene but the world, making it sparkle in glitter; Nirvana released “Nevermind”, Whitney Huston “I will always love you” and Radiohead “Creep”; technology stirred the music industry up, and electronic music became more accessible so got massive, bringing names such as Moby, Paul Van Dyk or The Prodigy…; “La Macarena” started playing everywhere (and still is), but we were also blessed with George Michael, Oasis, Ricky Martin, Jamiroquai or J.Lo! ; in Spain “Heroes del Silencio” were killing it and everywhere else “The Back Street Boys”, and who could forget the days when Beyonce was still in “Destiny’s Child”….

And the hip-hop in the 90’s, not to forget! Dr. Dre introducing Snoop Dogg and their modern gansta rap were killing it, in a time where hip-hop became the bestselling music genre in the mid 90’s!

It is clear, we love the 90’s and we will honour them every Friday of January 2019, from 10pm until midnight, with non-stop of 90’s more and less popular hits, and we are open to suggestions!
