On Friday 26th January, Yichang welcomes a very special event, with seats limited to a maximum of 15 participants. Xu Chang will demonstrate the traditional art of Himalayan Bowl Therapy in our cosy café.
This is not a concert, but a deep experience you are sure to remember, as the vibrations from the bowls harmonize with your body and help you attain very rapidly a state of deep meditation and extreme relaxation.
Participants can choose to lay on yoga mats, or sit during the session. To ensure the comfort of all, we ask to RSVP before the 23rd of January, by purchasing a ticket on showstart (scan the QR code in the image below).
Xu Chang
Xu Chang is an independent musician to which the Himalayan Bowl Therapy traditional art has been passed on, following which she founded Ya Shu Sound Bowl Therapy Studio.
She was born in the 90s, in a noisy era, and grew up in an era of rampant information. Despite such an experience, she has still pursued her own inner Sukhavati. Xu Chang feels destined to walk on the path of healing others.
A few years ago, studying in a music school, she went to Nepal alone to find peace, and that is where she had a life-changing encounter -- Himalaya Bowl Therapy. Since then, she repeatedly explored further the hidden Tibet, travelling long periods in the Himalayan region, studying bowl healing, visiting famous teachers everywhere, in order to learn ways of Himalaya Bowl for healing her heart and that of others.
Wen Xi, her music album, is actually an album of healing both body and inner-mind. In order to produce this album, Xu Chang has climbed through mountains, to all kinds of places beyond the language barrier. She was meticulous, from the choreography of each piece to the choice of accompaniment of the musical instruments, and to the recording, the post-production and the release of the album, she insists on learning herself rather than relying on anyone else. Xu Chang hopes to heal the impetuous and unbalanced minds of the people through Himalaya Bowls, bringing other ancient Himalayan musical sounds through modern means of communication.
