Beijing based singer-songwriter Xiao Liu lays it all bare on her bewitching and haunting debut "Sou 嗖". Though born and raised in Hunan, the young artist’s music was clearly shaped by her time in the big city and the isolation, strain and ‘cheap love’ that comes with it. There’s a melancholic ambience to the music that gives the dream pop tracks a hypnotic aura that sneaks up on you like a painful memory (intro provided by Live Beijing Music).
