Beijing GreenWolf Rock Festival

Beijing GreenWolf Rock Festival is a band music festival that has been planned and organised only by the students of Beijing World Youth Academy- an international school in Wangjing, ChaoYang district. The primary aim of this event is to provide you the most entertaining experience of all time!! Regardless of who you are, if you're ready to come and enjoy, you'll always be welcomed!!

Time Period: From 5:00PM to 8:00PM!!

Venue: BWYA IPC Performing Arts & Athletic Centre (For more details please look at the diagram below)

*Round Bus Trip Service will be provided for BWYA students and staffs who have bought "with free bus service" tickets, from BWYA Wangjing IB Campus to the venue, and back from the venue to BWYA Wangjing IB Campus. If you are a student of Beijing World Youth Academy, and if you are willing to take the bus service, please buy a ticket saying 'with free bus service'.

*There will be only regular tickets being sold at the door on the day. The price of the at-door regular ticket will be raised to 100RMB, and so please buy the ticket before the actual event takes place.

What the Charity Does:

Chunhui Boai exists to bring family love and care to China’s most vulnerable children. The organisation operate and support nurturing and education programmes with a proven track record for enabling at risk-children to reach their full potential. The organisation will not stop until every child knows that he/she is loved, knows his/her life matters, and has a chance at a bright future. The organisation has been working with supportive, government-run social welfare institutions to bring its professionally-developed and proven programs to institutionalized children. These institutions provide for the physical needs of underprivileged children and Chunhui complement their work by recruiting and training full-time caregivers to ensure that every child has the chance to develop a secure attachment to a nurturing adult.

The goal of Chunhui is to prepare institutionalised children to enter the society at an intellectual and social level with their peers by providing an environment that stimulates healthy emotional development and learning. Chunhui's programmes promote exploration and discovery in an enriching environment based on the interests of the child and the Chinese educational mandate that children learn about the arts, the sciences, language, social development, and health. Chunhui Children’s system, adapted to each developmental stage, offers continuity of nurturing care from birth to young adulthood.

• ShadowsDown: We are a high school metal band consisting of several members. Glad to be part of this show and please come and watch us perform. Thank you.


• Red Baboons: WE the RED BABOONS are the wild creatures that were tamed in BEIJING NO. 55! Our troop goes about our monkey ways to create "MUSIC", or so they say. Our "MUSIC" varies from old people songs to lame Disney songs, but mainly pop culture's mainstream meaningless so called "MUSIC"


• The Baguette Dudes: The Baguettes, french food, french people. Be ready cause french people aren't gonna surrender this time. Made up of non french looking band members (with two asian members), we still believe we'll be able to bring frenchness in the show. Fund us and we'll bring you omelettes du fromages


• IX Lives: Representing the leopards, BIBA's HS band IX Lives is about to use their ninth and final life to bring edge and originality to the Rockfest stage. They explore and fuse diverse genres such as rock, pop and reggae, and things blow up when great music is fused right!


• Gravity: 失重状态，引力运作，让我们开始失重.


• 光谷: 光谷乐队是一支后摇乐队，经过一段时间的积累和磨练有着比较多变的配合，这次演出带来比较拿得出手的自创，欢迎大家围观！

• Chroma: Hi! We're CHROMA. We contain pianist IAN ZHAO, bassist and guitarist JUN YOUNG JEON, drummer THEO CUI, vocalist and guitarist LIYONG WONG, and vocalist KATIE ZHANG. We love all genres of music, and colours. We believe that we'll bring colour to the festival.


• IvanBird: Founded during spring 2014, IvanBird (艾文鸟乐队) is consisted with 5 high school students from Beijing World Youth Academy. During the first two years of IvanBird’s initiation, we performed covers and alternative versions of pre-existing songs, mainly pop and pop rock during the first year, and Punk Rock, Bossa Nova, and Funk-Fusion in the latter. However, we got sick of playing other people’s music. And now, we make our own songs. During summer 2016, the two core members of IvanBird, Niu Mao & Ivan N, each released an original album, which inspired the band to release our first band album during summer 2017. The name of the album is called “Tethered”. IvanBird plays and excels in a fruitful spectrum of music genres, each band member are unique and has their own style interest. From Jazz to Post Rock, Classical to Garage Rock, New age to experimental, Fusion to Indie Pop… all of these genres are vividly present in IvanBird’s music. Check them out on our new album! (Released around late June 2017)
