Hike the Huanghuacheng Great Wall in Beijing’s Huairou District, starting off on an unrestored stretch and following it over the hills to a restored section and then up to a high tower to watch the sun go down. We then hike down to finish at a countryside restaurant near a scenic reservoir.
Holiday traffic: There's a chance we'll get stuck in bad traffic at some point during the drive there. Bring a book, just in case!
Bad weather plan: if rain is forecast we'd look at postponing the hike to the next good day. Otherwise, we're all go.
Cost: 420 RMB (380 RMB for members)
Time: 11:30am departure from Lido Hotel Starbucks; Liangmaqiao subway area pickup at 11:00am. (See our website for information about the meeting points.)
Please make your booking through our website, and we'll email you all the information you'll need for a fun day out, including contact details for your guide and information about where to meet. Reservations are essential, and making a booking is quick and easy.
