Dilber Yunus, born in Kashgar, Xinjiang, is one of China’s great voices. After studying at Beijing’s Central Music Conservatory, she joined the Finnish National Opera Company. She has performed around the world, and is considered one of the most accomplished singers of her generation, often praised for her vocal restraint and balance. She appears at the Forbidden City Concert Hall for a concert.
