The British Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to announce participation in the Beijing Mentor Walks, which have been held since 2013 by Capital M, Viva, AustCham Beijing, the Australian Embassy and AmCham China.

Mentor Walks Asia in Beijing brings together established and emerging women leaders in the community for a morning walk to discuss professional and personal successes, challenges and aspirations. We are aiming to provide women in the workplace a platform to share their experience and help them progress in their careers.

Come and join us as mentors or mentees for walks in beautiful and quiet parks on Friday mornings before work.

The British Chamber will host the Friday 8 July walk in Ritan Park near Chaoyangmen.

Come and meet Dionne on our walk on 8 July!

About Mentor Walks Asia in Beijing

A typical walk includes one Mentor and three to five Mentees. Mentees have the opportunity to seek advice from seasoned professionals who will provide an open ear, honest feedback and meaningful guidance.

Our Mentors come from a diverse array of backgrounds and industries including: international business, international development and foreign affairs, law, finance

and banking, architecture and design, marketing, media and public relations, IT and technology, energy and the environment, non-profit and CSR, hospitality and

health.

Our Mentees are emerging professionals from a diverse range of fields. They are not high school or university students, but rather professionals making their mark in the working world. Whether they have just started their careers or have been working for several years, Mentees are looking for inspiration from Mentors who have successfully navigated the business landscape in China. Mentees also include entrepreneurs who are looking for professional guidance from other enterprising women who have successfully launched their own ventures.
