Yoshi Izakaya 耀西居酒屋

Think of Yoshi as the Chengdu Xiaochi of Japanese restaurants (though with better decor) – it’s perfectly serviceable if you’re in the neighborhood and not particularly picky. Portions are small, though you can add a few kuai and get a set meal with salad, rice and miso soup. The more reliable are the basics such as soba noodles in a miso broth with seaweed and mushrooms. There are two sakes and two plum wines, both of which you could find at 7-11.
