Serving fresh burgers with imported 100 percent Australian grain fed, GMO and hormone free beef patties, Melbournian chain Royal Stacks has made a strong entrance to the burger scene in Beijing. Situated in the old Ito Yokado mall building, next door to Starbucks, it's a welcome addition to the Shilipu neighborhood, which has pretty slim pickings when it comes to western food. Seating space within the bright and cheerful '50s diner-style restaurant is a bit limited, but plans for outdoor seating are already in the works. All the bread is baked fresh daily next door, the ice cream is churned on site, and the sauces are all made fresh instore.
