Harvard Beijing Academy

The first program to pose a serious challenge to Princeton’s hegemony over intensive summer Mandarin study. Open to students from all colleges and countries, this two-month summer language program is designed for intermediate to advanced students of Chinese. Students spend the fifth week of the nine-week program conducting a study in a choice of locations, where they research some aspect of Chinese society that will form the basis for papers that may be published and presented at an academic conference.
