Baihe River’s trail is located further upriver, in Huairou District. From the entrance gate, the river is about four kilometers away on fairly decent trails. There are camping spots on both sides of the river, but cross over to the far side for better views and more privacy. If camping is not your cup of tea, stay in local village guesthouses. Bus: Take Bus 916 快 (RMB 8, about 1hr) from Dongzhimen long-distance bus station to Huairou Station. From there, take Minibus 10 (RMB 6, about 1hr) to Baichazi (柏查子), where you can take a taxi (RMB 15-20, 10min) to the entrance gate.
Car: Take Jingshun Lu for about 30 km to the Kuliushu Roundabout. Then take the Jingmi (Beijing-Miyun) Road toward Miyun to the Yingbin Roundabout. Go around the roundabout and take Huaifeng Road (怀丰路) to Baichazi and then Yunmeng Xianjing. Take a right at the reception center and go straight.
